The Skimz Monzter D-Series 3rd generation protein skimmers have been redesigned to include a drain plate with a gear system for adjusting the water outlet. This unique system uses 70 gear teeth for smooth and easy adjustment of the water level in the skimmer.

The Skimz Monzter skimmer does not use bulky outlet pipes, reducing the footprint needed inside a sump. Pair it with the high-performance QuietPro QPS DC skimmer pump, which produces an incredible amount of air and water to create ultra-fine foam for optimal waste removal.

The QuietPro QPS DC skimmer pump is a variable speed, high-flow controllable pump that uses 6-pole BLDC (brushless DC) synchronous motors for near-silent operation. This allows for more consistent thrust from the rotor. The QuietPro QPS DC pump allows you to adjust the speed according to your needs. It also features a slow start mode and an automatic shut-off protection mode. For safety, if the pump does not detect water or if the intake is blocked by debris, the pump automatically activates its shut-off protection mode.

Skimz has developed an innovative air silencer for easy cleaning and maintenance. It is relatively simple to disassemble by removing the base plate screw and taking apart the chamber for cleaning.
