Algae Reactor

Reduce the Phosphate and Nitrate Levels in Your Aquarium

The Macro-Algae or Plankton Reactor is a device designed for cultivating live algae.

Macro-Algae Reactor: connected to the aquarium, its purpose is to grow "Chaetomorpha" macro-algae to reduce phosphate and nitrate levels. Very easy to use, it only requires the addition of a small pump to operate.

In addition to nutrient control, using the macro-algae reactor offers other benefits such as consuming excess CO2 and increasing oxygen levels in the aquarium. Recommended to be used on a reverse daylight cycle, helping to balance pH fluctuations and create a stable environment for the tank inhabitants.

Key factors:
-Reduction of NO3
-Reduction of PO4
-Reduction of dissolved organic matter
-Reduction of carbon dioxide
-Increase in oxygen levels
-Increases and stabilizes pH
-Increase in Redox levels
-Improves water quality
-Accelerates the calcification of corals
-Helps create healthy natural conditions for all aquarium inhabitants.
-Replaces other nutrient control methods such as carbon dosing and bio-pellets with a natural solution.

Plankton Reactor: independent of the aquarium, its purpose is to cultivate suspended macro-algae: phytoplankton is an essential food for corals and filter-feeding invertebrates in reef aquariums. It is also indispensable for breeding marine tropical fish. The plankton reactor can operate with the Phytocontrol dosing pump, to optimally manage the entire production and distribution of the valuable plankton. Additionally, it can handle feeding and seeding products.
