Marine pure reef filtration substrate

MarinePure is an American brand from the company Cermedia, which has over 10 years of experience in manufacturing ultra-porous ceramics for biological water filtration treatment. Cermedia develops solutions for both industry and aquaculture as well as aquariology.

MarinePure products are an excellent technical complement to Aquaroche decorative ceramics and are usable in both freshwater and saltwater.

Placed in an external filter or an aquarium sump, their specific surface and design make them one of the best biological filtration media for the degradation of ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates with proven effectiveness.

The range currently includes four products available for sale:

• MarinePure Block: This 8x8x4 inch block (approximately 20x20x10cm) provides a specific surface area of more than 2000 m² for colonization by bacteria useful for the nitrate cycle. Usable in the skimmer compartment, for example.
• MarinePure Plate: This 8x8x1 inch plate (approximately 20x20x2.5 cm) provides a specific surface area of more than 500 m². Easy to handle or cut to be used in all parts of the sump.
• MarinePure Sphere: Available in 1 Gal (approximately 3.75 liters) and 2 Qt (approximately 1.9 liters) packaging for a specific surface area of 435 m²/liter. Ideally placed in areas with higher water flow such as overflow, water descent, external filter, etc.
• MarinePure Gem's: Ideal for additional biological support in aquariums of less than 200 liters.
