Nyos® ACTIVE CARB is a pH-neutral, acid-washed, steam-activated charcoal that allows you to achieve pure and crystal-clear aquarium water.

Usage: Nyos® ACTIVE CARB can be used both short-term (e.g., to eliminate medication residues) and long-term. For long-term use, apply about 500-1000 ml of ACTIVE CARB per 1000 liters of aquarium water and renew every four weeks. For short-term use, the dosage can be doubled. Nyos® ACTIVE CARB can be directly added to the aquarium circulation in a filter sleeve or between the two layers of synthetic wool of the filter. A fluidized bed reactor provides the best results.
