PhytoBreeder 2 - The plankton reactor

With the PhytoBreeder, anyone can reproduce their own Phytoplankton.

Under optimal conditions, up to 30% of the volume of the PhytoBreeder can be harvested daily, which means that a quantity of 3.5 to 6 liters of plankton can be injected into the reef aquarium each day. This procedure can be automated with the PhytoControl.

The PhytoBreeder 2 is even more compact than its predecessor.

The light source has been integrated into the culture chamber, significantly increasing the use of light energy.

The removable lid has been replaced by a 110mm screw cap. This way, the Phytobreeder can be easily opened and is completely pressure-tight.
