Macro Algae Reactor 3181 TUNZE
Macro Algae Reactor 3181 - TUNZE
The TUNZE® MAR 3181 and 3182 can be placed in any filter tank or next to the aquarium without external filter technology. The water circulation in the reactor ensures the rotation of the algae culture, thus reducing the number of light sources while ensuring strong plant growth.

Technical Characteristics
Macro Algae Reactor - Bioremediation in Freshwater and Marine Aquariums
Living plants and macroalgae can be excellent biological detoxifiers for the bioremediation of ecosystems.
Chaetomorpha 'Spaghetti Algae' is cultivated by many marine aquarists to eliminate nitrates and phosphates from the aquatic biotope. To maintain the biological balance in the aquarium, it is enough to collect a handful of algae from time to time - it is an economical and simple alternative to many chemicals and resins.
Naja grass, Najas guadalupensis, can be cultivated to purify freshwater systems such as cichlid biotopes.
The TUNZE® MAR 3181 and 3182 can be placed in any filter tank or next to the aquarium without external filter technology. The water circulation in the reactor ensures the rotation of the algae culture and thus reduces the number of light sources while ensuring strong plant growth. However, if necessary, the setup can be extended with additional light sources.
