En savoir plus
The Pseudanthias dispar has a peach color and inhabits the waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Depending on the geographical area, the colors may vary. Additionally, this fish lives in very large schools in reefs where the current is moderate. Polygamous, this specimen requires the presence of several females.
To meet this condition in an aquarium, it is preferable to house one male with 3 or 4 females. A pair of females is not recommended, as aggression can occur to establish a hierarchy in front of the male. Next, a water volume of at least 60L is required. The minimum acceptable temperature is 23°, while the highest suitable temperature is 28°. The pH should be between 8 and 8.5. It is important to specify that the Pseudanthias dispar requires nitrate-free water and a diet based on zooplankton and pellets in small quantities. Although it eats little, very regular feeding is mandatory.
Common name: Peach Anthias Fish. This fish has an elongated yellow-orange body with a red dorsal fin. They must be fed several times a day. They should be kept in a group of at least one male and four females.
