Description

Liquid food dedicated mainly to soft corals, gorgonians, and non-photosynthetic corals. Due to the perfect balance between phytoplankton and zooplankton content, the formula provides corals with all the necessary nutrients such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.

To provide corals with nutrition that meets all their nutritional needs, AF Phyto Mix contains top-quality animal-origin additives. The formula has been enriched by adding crustaceans rich in highly absorbable proteins. Due to the excellent balance of nutrients, AF Phyto Mix is also eagerly eaten by small fish such as anthias. It can also be absorbed from the water by LPS corals. Regular use of AF Phyto Mix ensures healthy and intensive growth and excellent coloration of corals.

Dosage

10 drops per 100 liters (27 US gal) of water every two days with medium coral stocking.

- After opening, store in the refrigerator.

Additional Information

All coral supplements have a recommended dosage, however, it is important to note that each aquarium is different and the dosage may vary depending on coral melt. We recommend starting to dose food and supplements at half the dose (or even ¼) and observing the corals and their reactions to the administered food. Once the aquarium shows no signs of overdosing, we recommend increasing the dose to the target dose.

To facilitate food absorption, SPS and LPS corals should be fed after the lights go out. Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals should be fed during the day. To ensure the best absorption of nutrients, all coral supplements and food should be distributed directly into the aquarium.

During feeding, we recommend turning off the skimmer for about an hour.

Once opened, store in the refrigerator.
