En savoir plus
Originating from the Philippines, this freshwater plant is perfectly suitable for submerged cultivation in an aquarium. Even though its leaf shape and color resemble Anubias nana, its leaves are lighter. Additionally, it grows faster. Once established in a tank, it can reach about 15 cm in height.
For cultivating Schismatoglottis prietoi, an aquarium of at least 50 liters is recommended. The water temperature should be between 22°C and 28°C, and the pH between 5.5 and 7. This plant is perfect for low-maintenance aquariums. Its compact growth makes it very popular in aquascaping, or for small aquariums. The propagation rate of Schismatoglottis prietoi is high, thereby creating a dense decor with ease.
