Under the appearance of a small tuft of grass rarely exceeding 10 cm in height, the Acorus pusillus is an aquatic plant native to the freshwater of Japan. Ideal for decorating the foreground in an aquarium, this rhizome plant is also capable of holding sand through its substantial roots. Additionally, its fleshy leaves are resistant to the bites of your aquatic animals.
When maintained in an aquarium, this plant withstands both soft and hard water. It tolerates a temperature between 18° and 28° as well as a pH between 5 and 8. Difficult to maintain, the Acorus pusillus also has a very slow growth rate. It is intended for experienced aquarists.
