Care Bacter contains bacteria on a powdered maerl algae substrate, which keeps the aquarium fresh and the seawater clean.

Action:

1. Significantly reduced amount of green and capillary algae.
The aquarium glass is not covered with algae as quickly. The introduced bacteria compete with the aforementioned algae.

2. The amount of nitrogen and phosphate compounds is reduced.
The bacteria feed on nitrogen and phosphate compounds and are absorbed at the end of their life by corals or captured by skimmers or filters.

3. Corals and fish are healthier.
The bacteria and other substances boost immunity, reducing the risk of infections by vibrios, among others.

4. The aquarium becomes much cleaner, and organic sediments (humus) are much smaller.
The bacteria can use decay as food.

Application

Upon first use of the product, we recommend the "shock therapy" (the cup included in the kit), as it leads to the desired effect quickly and efficiently.

For aquariums of 500 to 1000 liters: 10 ml per week (equivalent to 4 titrations) for 2 weeks.

For aquariums of 100 to 500 liters: 5 ml per week (equivalent to 2 titrations) for 2 weeks.

For aquariums of 30 to 100 liters: 2.5 ml per week (equivalent to 1 titration) for 2 weeks.

We recommend temporarily stopping the mechanical filter system and the seawater skimmer for 10 minutes while dosing and entering the dose directly into the aquarium's biotope.

Normal dosage after the first vaccination:

For aquariums of 500 to 1000 liters: 2.5 ml per week (equivalent to 1 titration).

For aquariums of 30 to 500 liters: 1.25 ml per week (equivalent to 1/2 titration).

During dosing, we recommend temporarily stopping the mechanical filtration and seawater skimmer for 10 minutes and introducing the dose directly into the aquarium's biotope.

Care Bacteria

Care Bacter is a unique blend of bioactive filtering organisms that has been specially developed to keep the water in saltwater and freshwater aquariums clean and to ensure an optimal biological balance. 
Care Bacter is the perfect complement to technical devices, such as aquarium filters or highly efficient skimmers. Especially in saltwater aquariums and with an effective biotope flow, the effectiveness of this preparation can be observed in a short time. The same applies to older types of aquariums lacking bacterial flora or organic matter accumulation. Care Bacter improves biological function and significantly reduces the amount of algae and sediments in the water.

Care Bacter is composed of bacterial strains that are neither pathogenic nor genetically modified (Directive 2000/54 / EC) and which, in combination with water treatment, work together very effectively and synergistically.
One of the bacterial strains acts as a destructor. It ensures the complete decomposition of dead organic particles in the aquarium (protein → ammonium/ammonia → nitrite → nitrate) and uses the resulting nitrates as a saprophage. These bacteria also break down phosphate by absorbing phosphorus. This leads to extremely effective water purification. By eliminating phosphates and nitrates, algae are prevented from multiplying.
The second bacterial strain helps fight pathogenic bacteria of the Vibrio strain, which are extremely harmful to aquarium biotopes. Care Bacter thus protects fish, crustaceans, corals, and other animals against pathogens and facilitates their acclimatization in the aquarium. In the case of hard corals, LPS, and SPS, Care Bacter significantly reduces the risk of rapid spread of RTN tissue necrosis. Finally, Care Bacter clearly enriches the biological layer of the aquarium and provides certain species of corals and benthic animals.
