En savoir plus
The Dardanus megistos is a red hermit crab covered with white spots. Sometimes measuring about ten centimeters, it roams the waters of the Red Sea and the Pacific Ocean. One of its claws is very often larger than the other. The lagoons and reefs where the water is shallow constitute the main habitat frequented by the Dardanus megistos. In an aquarium, it is highly recommended to associate this species with larger specimens, both fish and crustaceans.
Common name: White-spotted Hermit Crab. It is more or less detritivorous, but mainly carnivorous, so empty shells should be placed in the aquarium.
