Most often around the Fiji Islands, the Meiacanthus atrodorsalis, a fish about ten centimeters long, inhabits lagoons and reefs in shallow waters. Like other Blennies, this specimen is capable of defending itself through its venomous teeth. Aggressive towards its own kind, the Meiacanthus atrodorsalis is on the contrary very peaceful with species that do not resemble it.
Perfectly adapted to a reef aquarium and very easy to maintain, it feeds on small shrimp, artemia, or even dry food.
