En savoir plus

The Salarias ramosus, commonly known as the "Starry Blenny," has a brown body speckled with numerous pearly spots. Generally, this fish moves alone or in groups, navigating from rock to rock in search of algae. It ignores other individuals it encounters, both in the wild and in aquariums. In fact, other species reciprocate by ignoring it as well. However, it does not tolerate animals of its own species.

For aquarium maintenance, a tank of at least 200L provides a suitable volume of water. Additionally, a temperature between 23°C and 28°C and a pH between 8 and 8.5 are the parameters suitable for the Salarias ramosus. The advantage of this specimen is that it regulates the algae in the aquarium and contributes to its natural cleaning thanks to its primarily algae-based diet.
