En savoir plus
The Chaetodon meyeri is a white butterflyfish with yellow edges. Its body is covered with circular or curved black lines, giving it a distinctive appearance. This species often evolves in pairs through the clear waters of coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific Ocean.
When kept in an aquarium, the water volume allocated to the Chaetodon meyeri should be at least 450L. The temperature of this water should be between 23°C and 28°C, and the pH between 8 and 8.5. Rather timid by nature, this fish should be associated with other species of similar character, that are not very aggressive. Its corallivorous diet can make feeding difficult, especially since it does not consume common food solutions in aquariums. This specimen is therefore more suited to enthusiasts with a certain level of experience.
