The Chaetodon guttatissimus is a butterflyfish about 30 cm long. Its coloration pattern is silver on the front of the body and yellow on the back. A black mark is visible on its head, as well as another from the dorsal to the caudal fin. Numerous vertical black stripes are present on the sides of the specimen. It also resides near reefs, in pairs.
To effectively maintain the Chaetodon lineolatus, a large aquarium is necessary. 500L is the absolute minimum. Then, the water temperature should be between 23°C and 28°C, and the pH between 8 and 8.5. The interspecific relationships of this fish are rather good. In its natural habitat, it primarily consumes anemone polyps.
Common name: Striped Butterflyfish. This fish has an oval-shaped silver body that becomes yellow on the back with dark transverse lines.
