MARINE SILICATE GLUE EX 500 ML

Silicate Ex quickly removes silicates from seawater. Excessive levels of silicate are the main reason for the presence of brown algae (diatoms). By removing silicates with Colombo Silicate Ex, diatoms can no longer develop and will disappear. Normally, a silicate content of 0.50 mg/l is acceptable, but to eliminate diatoms, it must be reduced to 0. Silicate Ex is composed of porous spheres for maximum water flow and high removal capacity. Dosage: 100 ml per 200 liters of seawater. Place the Silicate Ex in a fine filter bag. Wash the Silicate Ex thoroughly with cold water to remove any dust residue. Place the filter bag in an area with good water flow. When the silicate level has reached the desired level, remove the Silicate Ex for future use. Please note that: Silicate Ex also binds phosphates. Therefore, remove phosphates with Colombo Phosphate Ex to improve the effectiveness of Silicate Ex. Similarly, do not add phosphates when using Silicate Ex.
