En savoir plus

The MC122 controller monitors and automatically adjusts pH levels. Simply set your pH settings and let the Milwaukee pH regulator do the rest.

ACCURACY

The Milwaukee MC-122 pH regulator offers an accuracy of ± 0.2 pH with manual two-point calibration.

AUTOMATION

The controller provides a control range of 5.5 to 9.5 pH with alarms that activate when readings are above or below the setpoint.

DESIGN FEATURES

Fast and easy-to-read current results with a large digital LCD display.
Accurate to ± 0.2 pH (0.0 pH to 14.0 pH) with user-selected high/low set points.

USAGE AND MAINTENANCE

pH meters usually start to malfunction due to problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause issues are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction.

SENSING BULB

The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and eventually fails. This is true for all pH probes.

You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways.

STORAGE

The pH probe must remain hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the probe's sensitivity. Letting the probe dry out can also lead to the junction hole getting clogged.

Storing in a pH probe storage solution or pH calibration buffers will help address these two issues. Do not store in tap water and DI water. This would damage the probe's sensitivity.

The best way to store the probe is to place the probe cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and tighten the cap to prevent leakage. It is also recommended to store the electrode in an upright position to further reduce the risk of leakage.

CLEANING

Sample residues can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample contains a lot of organic matter. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in a cleaning solution.

CALIBRATION

pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time, so make sure you calibrate regularly to keep your PRO pH controller accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.
