En savoir plus
Commonly called the Andaman Damselfish, Pomacentrus alleni is a small blue fish with a yellow anal fin. Of a solitary temperament, it roams alone in the Andaman Sea. Sometimes, it seems to have been spotted in Indonesia. Most often, this animal frequents the shallow or mid-depth waters of reefs in coastal areas.
For maintenance in an aquarium, a minimum water volume of 200L is recommended. Then, the water temperature should preferably be between 23° and 28°. The pH should be between 8 and 8.5. Even though this species is not particularly aggressive, it should be noted that intraspecific relationships are much better in the juvenile state than once adult. Not very difficult to feed, Pomacentrus alleni eats many foods, including pellets and crustaceans.
