En savoir plus
The Chromis analis is quite similar to the Chromis viridis. However, its color is not the same, as it has a transparent whitish body with yellow edges. Measuring about 5 to 8 cm, it inhabits the waters of the Indo-Pacific region. This specimen is found in significant schools near coral reefs. Thus, when danger approaches, it clings to the branched corals to secure itself.
Once in an aquarium, a minimum volume of 200L is recommended, as well as a water temperature between 22° and 28°. The pH tolerated by the Chromis analis is between 8.2 and 8.4. Even though it generally evolves in a school, a single individual can be introduced. If you plan to create a school, we advise composing it of at least 20 individuals to maintain a peaceful atmosphere within the tank. However, such a large group requires an aquarium of about 5000L. Being omnivorous by nature, the Chromis analis is not difficult to feed.
Common name: Yellow damselfish. This fish has a yellow oval-shaped body. It is necessary to form a school of at least 5 individuals for a hierarchy to establish. It is advisable to have an aquarium rich in decorations to prevent the damselfish from quarreling. This fish is recommended for beginners.
