DENNERLE - CO2 QUICKTEST
Description
Carbon is the most important nutrient for aquarium plants. Nearly 40% of the dry mass of plants is composed of carbon. Carbon (carbon dioxide) is generally absent from aquariums – consequence: poor plant growth. And when plants grow poorly, parasitic algae seize their chance.
Thus, in a short time, you can determine if the aquarium contains enough CO2. Simply fill the test tube with aquarium water, shake, and the color reaction will already indicate the result.
If the aquarium does not contain enough CO2, a CO2 fertilization system is recommended.
Plant growth will then be lush with strong, richly colored leaves. And, troublesome algae will have almost no chance.
Usage

Very easy to use
A color reaction indicates the CO2 content:
- Yellow = too much CO2
- Yellow-green = a lot of CO2
- Green = optimal CO2
- Green-blue = little CO2
- Blue = not enough CO2
Advice
With the use of a CO2 system, we recommend for permanent control
of the CO2 content in the aquarium our Test CO2 longue durée Correct+ pH.
