Before use, mount vertically in the aquarium for a few hours, so the diffuser fills with a bit of water.
Under the name "CO2 Diffusor Ultra," Dennerle offers a series of modern CO2 diffusers. These are made from transparent, shatterproof acrylic. Therefore, they are safer than conventional glass diffusers and perfect for children's aquariums. Thanks to their ultra-compact shape, they can be installed "invisibly" in the aquarium with the included suction cup or also in the field of view thanks to their attractive design.
The newly developed membranes are specially sintered with extremely small porosities. The resulting nano-diffusion of CO2 ensures very effective and safe dissolution of this essential nutrient for aquarium plants. With the help of the integrated bubble counter, the amount of added CO2 can be easily controlled.
The CO2 Diffusor Ultra is compatible with standard CO2 systems, e.g., with Dennerle's disposable or refillable Carbo START, Carbo POWER, and Carbo NIGHT systems. Due to the much lower operating pressure of around 0.3-0.5 bar compared to classic glass diffusers, the CO2 Diffusor Ultra is also ideal for bio CO2 systems. The hose connection fits all standard 4/6 mm CO2 hoses, e.g., with the special CO2 hose from Dennerle.
The CO2 Diffusor Ultra S is suitable for aquariums up to 100 L and particularly for the highly popular Nano aquariums. The M model is suitable for aquariums up to 200 L, and the L model for aquariums up to 400 L.
