The lenses of the G5 provide a more usable light zone. This is achieved by diffusing light that would normally create a high PAR area directly under the LED fixture and redirecting it to a much wider optimal intensity zone for coral health and growth. This will reduce shadows in the aquarium and increase the usable space for corals at all depths.

HEI OPTICS

Generation 5 includes the most sophisticated lens design available. HEI lenses offer the light uniformity and color blending of the T5 halide combo without sacrificing the power and efficiency of LEDs.

ASSEMBLY

The Multi-Light RMS offers a customizable multi-light mounting solution for the Radion XR30 and Radion XR15 lights. The RMS Multi-Light system includes:

- Integrated cable management
- Compatibility with rimmed tanks, rimless tanks, and European bracing
- Rigid but lightweight construction
- Anodized aluminum finish
- Sliding supports for horizontal and rotational adjustment
- Optimal mounting for Radions is about 7 inches (18 cm) above the edge of the tank

These two specialized kits are designed for the Radion XR15 and XR30 models. Each kit contains everything needed to mount a Radion light on almost any standard or rimless tank.

Each kit contains multiple sliding rails and a rotating X bracket, allowing you to position your Radion precisely where you need it.

The Radion® G6 features an all-new LED cluster. The rebalancing of proven colors combined with the addition of warm white and violet takes the color rendering of your corals to the next level. The reconfiguration of the clusters complements the brand-new HEI lenses to provide a better-balanced color blend than ever before.

How impressive is the new HEI lens design? Just compare it to previous generations of Radion® lenses, which used the best optical technologies of their time. By observing the respective PAR distribution of the reflector and TIR lenses, it is immediately evident that HEI Optics offers a significant improvement in terms of usable coverage.

Silent cooling

The G5 heat sink has been designed from the ground up to maximize surface area and allow for better heat dissipation. Multiple channels provide an unlimited airflow. This efficient heat management significantly reduces the need for active cooling, which decreases fan noise and airflow noise.

Operation

The Radion® diffuser uses a diffuser material designed with optimized air space, resulting in improved color blending and more uniform caustics. Working with the existing optics equipped on the Radion® lights, a diffuser offers a more pleasing light appearance with only minimal reduction in PAR.
