BACTO ENERGY is a special carbon source designed to nourish bacteria capable of reducing nutrients in marine aquariums.

Dosage: 2 to 5 ml per 1000 liters per day, depending on nutrient concentration and living population. Older aquariums with high nutrient concentrations should first use a phosphate treatment product such as ULTRA PHOS and reduce the recommended dose by 75%. Then increase the dosage every 2 weeks by about 10%, while testing current water parameters in parallel. The dose is too high if slimy deposits appear on the glass and stones. Any changes in the aquarium should be made with caution!
