Ultra Phos 1000 ml Fauna Marin

ULTRA PHOS is an aluminum-based anti-phosphate media that safely removes phosphates and silicates from the aquarium.

ULTRA PHOS also removes unwanted trace elements such as barium, arsenic, fluoride, and phosphorous derivatives. As water passes through the media, dyes and organic pollutants will permanently adhere to it without ever being released.

ULTRA PHOS allows for nutrient control and achieving crystal-clear water.

Instructions and dosage: any changes in the aquarium should be made with caution! Rinse ULTRA PHOS before use!

The product may heat up during rinsing. ULTRA PHOS works best when used in a dedicated fluidized filter.

Start with 50 g for 200 liters of aquarium water. After 14 days, the amount can be increased up to 100 g per 200 liters.

Regularly check the PO4 level with the Fauna Marin AQUAHOMETEST PO4 test kit. When the PO4 concentration rises, replace ULTRA PHOS with new media.

Do not use more than 100 g per 200 liters of water.

It is not recommended to use ULTRA PHOS when the PO4 value is below 0.03 mg/l in the aquarium.

ULTRA PHOS is very powerful and is particularly suited for aquariums with high phosphate levels. Aquariums with extremely high nutrient concentrations will take longer to see a measurable reduction in PO4, as phosphorus compounds will be eliminated first. This phenomenon results in a yellowing of the media and much clearer water.
