Phos 0.04 475g Fauna Marin

PHOS 0.04 is a unique blend of granules that removes phosphates and yellow compounds from aquarium water. PHOS 0.04 ensures the maintenance of phosphates at 0.04 mg/l and can be used safely. Regardless of the amount of PHOS 0.04 used, PO4 values will never drop to 0.00 mg/l. When water passes through the media, phosphates and nutrients are durably bound and are not reintroduced into the aquarium in significant quantities. As a result, nutrient levels decrease, the growth of undesirable algae is limited, and the natural coloration of corals is improved.

Instructions and dosage:

Any changes in the aquarium should be made with caution! It is not recommended to use PHOS 0.04 when the PO4 value is below 0.03 mg/l.
Use 50 ml of PHOS 0.04 per 100 liters of water. After 5 days, it is possible to increase the amount up to 100 ml for 100 liters of water. Regularly check the PO4 level, for example with the Fauna Marin PO4 test kit. PHOS 0.04 is preferably used after a UV sterilizer and in a low-flow filter. The optimal flow rate is 100 to 200 liters per hour. The lower the flow rate, the better the result. When the PO4 concentration rises, replace the PHOS 0.04 with new media.
