The SKIM BREEZE from FAUNA MARIN is a special air filtration system to be connected to skimmers in order to purify the injected air and absorb CO2. The aim is to increase the pH of the tank.

Instructions: To fill the filter, slightly loosen the screw. Insert the hose adapter provided for the skimmer and replace the filter cover.

What are the benefits of a high pH in the aquarium:

•Achieve a pH closer to the natural value of seawater, which is 8.3

•Increase coral growth through better calcification

•Maintain a more stable pH throughout the day and night

•Increase the success rate of reproduction of calcareous organisms, e.g., snails

•A higher pH allows for a lower phosphate level in the aquarium and reduces the growth of undesirable algae

•A reduction in nutrients is possible since a high pH will reduce deposits and promote the dissolution of PO4

The advantages of the SKIM BREEZE CO2 reactor compared to the classic pH buffer: Overdosing is not possible with Skim Breeze! Unlike other products available on the market, the CO2 already present in the water will not be bound, which helps avoid imbalances in water chemistry.

The CO2 will be retained by the filtration media before even reaching the tank. The SKIM BREEZE CO2 filter operates passively through the skimmer's functioning. This system does not require any manual dosing in the aquarium.

The "SKIM BREEZE" filtration media is equipped with a color indicator that shows the saturation state of the filter. The color change from white to pale purple indicates that the filtration media is saturated. The performance of the skimmer can be improved by 15%.
