HIGHLY CONCENTRATED POTASSIUM SOLUTION
ELEMENTALS K
ELEMENTALS K is a highly concentrated potassium solution used to compensate for potassium deficiencies in reef aquariums.
Elementals Series for Aquarium Balance
The Elementals series is designed to be used with regular ICP analyses. Fauna Marin ICP analyses help you keep your aquarium perfectly supplied.
Dosage Recommendations and Trace Elements
In addition to the measured values, Fauna Marin ICP analyses provide you with all the necessary dosage recommendations. Besides the salts of the macroelements calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness, we also offer a number of special trace elements whose function is essential in saltwater aquariums.
The Importance of Trace Elements
Unlike macroelements such as calcium, magnesium, or potassium, trace elements are present in seawater at concentrations below 1 mg/l. These include copper, chromium, manganese, or selenium, but also iron, iodine, or zinc.
The Diversity of Trace Element Functions
The functions of trace elements can be very different. In the knowledge database on the Fauna Marin website, you will find an overview of the respective functions of different elements. Trace elements can be contained in many different substances and can thus also enter the aquarium water; however, despite their low necessary concentration in the water, their deficiency can cause considerable problems. A sufficient supply of all important trace elements is therefore indispensable for a healthy reef aquarium.
Our High-Quality Single Element Solutions
Our single element solutions are made from the purest raw materials, produced with the appropriate organic or inorganic compounds depending on the function of the elements. For production and quality control, we use our coral farm and of course our own ICP laboratory.
