Description SeaTak - The Nature-Inspired Coral Glue

Permanently bond your coral fragments using the power of mussel polymers.

SeaTak is an entirely new type of underwater adhesive, designed by drawing inspiration from the chemistry of mussel byssus. For centuries, humans have been fascinated by the incredible strength with which mussels adhere to all surfaces. Today, science has managed to replicate these chemical processes to create a durable, non-toxic, and easy-to-use glue based on mussel polymers. This innovation has been specifically developed to create an optimal and resistant underwater adhesive, ideal for coral reef restoration and bonding coral fragments in reef aquariums.

SeaTak Features:

Adheres underwater: Ideal for use in aquariums.
Strong initial adhesion: Ensures quick and secure bonding.
Repositionable and moldable: Allows for correcting mistakes before hardening.
Extremely strong after hardening: A durable bond.
Biocompatible: Corals quickly cover the glue.

Storage advice Store SeaTak in a dry place, in its tightly sealed tube, at a temperature between 0 and 26 °C.
Under these conditions, the product lasts between 6 and 12 months. Keep out of reach of children.

SeaTak Coral Glue Usage Guide

Fragmenting and breeding corals: Bonding fragments to an artificial substrate or directly onto live rock, in aquariums or natural environments.
Creating decorations: Bonding fragments of live rock or artificial materials to create decorative structures, either dry or underwater.

Understanding SeaTak:

SeaTak is not just a simple cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. It requires a specific application technique.

Instructions for use:

Preparation: Clean the surfaces to be bonded. They can be damp.

Application: Apply the glue using an appropriate tool (spatula, etc.) or directly from the tube.
Work quickly, as the glue dries rapidly in a humid environment.
Feel free to use a generous amount of glue for better adhesion.

Drying:

The glue hardens upon contact with water.
It withstands a slight current once dried and reaches maximum strength in 24 hours.

Cleaning:

Clean tools and surfaces immediately with acetone or 91% isopropyl alcohol.
To remove dried glue, use an abrasive.
