Feeding

When the water temperature is consistently above 20°C (60°F), feed once to twice a day. When the water temperature is consistently above 30°C (70°F), feed two to four times a day. Please do not exceed the amount your fish will eat within three to five minutes after feeding. Remove any remaining food after the feeding period to avoid overfeeding and potential water quality issues that may result. Note: Hikari® Staple™ contains higher levels of natural ingredients that may cause a slight color variation from one production batch to another. Rest assured that due to our strict quality standards, each package meets our superior nutritional specifications.
