The Ancistrus - Ancistrus dolichopterus is a freshwater fish, living at a temperature of 23 - 27°C with a pH of 6.0 to 8.0. Its reproduction is possible. It feeds on plants and roots. To keep it in good conditions, we advise you to include at least 2 in an aquarium with a minimum length of 80 cm. This fish is native to South America: upper and middle Brazilian Amazon basin and the lower Negro, Trombetas, Tefé, Madeira, and Tapajos rivers. Its approximate size at sale is 2-5 cm.
