En savoir plus

The Corydoras sterbai is also called the Leopard Corydoras. It is considered a bottom-dwelling fish. It is essential to have some in order to establish a good balance in your aquarium, making it an excellent candidate. The Corydoras sterbai is silver-colored with black spots. It is often confused with its cousin, the Corydoras julii, but it is distinguished by the lack of a black dorsal fin. It has small barbels that allow it to sift through the sand to feed on leftover food not consumed by the aquarium's population.

Naturally gregarious and rather lively, it moves in colonies along the aquatic floor. Completely peaceful, this species integrates perfectly into a community tank. It is preferable to install 8 to 10 individuals in an aquarium of at least 100 liters. The recommended pH is between 5.8 and 7, and the temperature should be between 22° and 31°.
