En savoir plus
The Corydoras pygmaeus is also known as the Pygmy Corydoras. The Pygmy Corydoras is silver in color. Along its lateral line, there are two horizontal lines of black and gold. It has two barbels to dig into the substrate to feed on food not consumed by the remaining population of the aquarium.
Gregarious and rather lively by nature, it moves in colonies along the aquatic bottom. Completely peaceful, this species integrates perfectly into a community tank. It is preferable to install 8 to 10 individuals in an aquarium of at least 30 liters. The recommended pH is from 6.8 to 7.2 and the temperature between 22° and 26°.
