The Labidochromis caeruleum is also commonly known as the Yellow Labidochromis. This specimen is a fish from Lake Malawi, easily recognizable by its beautiful yellow color, but also by its dorsal, anal, and pectoral fins which are black. Moving in small groups, this species has a rather lively temperament but remains peaceful towards other aquarium cohabitants.
For proper maintenance in your aquarium, it is preferable to introduce three females for one male. The water should be kept at a stable temperature between 23°C and 28°C. The pH that the Labidochromis caeruleum tolerates is between 7.5 and 8.6.
