En savoir plus
The Hasemania nana is also commonly known as the Copper Tetra. The Hasemania nana has a bright copper color on its body that gradually fades to black on the tail. On the tips of the fins, small white spots can be seen, making it easily recognizable. The Copper Tetra is a schooling fish, so it is necessary to introduce at least 6 individuals to avoid any stress that could lead to diseases or simply their death. This specimen follows an insectivore and omnivore diet. To reduce the risk of deficiencies, it is recommended to vary the types of food.
For aquarium maintenance, a minimum of 100 liters is required. Additionally, the temperature should be between 22°C and 26°C, and the pH between 6.8 and 7.2. Introducing at least 6 individuals respects the social habits of the Hasemania nana. Peaceful, it can coexist with various species without danger but still requires a large living space. Its reproduction is also easy to set up, especially with a temperature close to 26°C and a pH of 6.
