En savoir plus
The Ancistrus sp Gold is a type of catfish. It has a yellow color. From the family Loricariidae, their large, suction-cup-shaped mouths give them the reputation of being excellent bottom cleaners. Relatively robust, they can adapt to a wide variety of aquariums, preferably containing water between 22° and 28°C. As adults, this species can reach a length of up to 13 cm. In favorable conditions and an environment that meets its needs, an Ancistrus gold can live for about ten years. An oviparous animal, females lay around a hundred eggs, which hatch after 3 to 5 days. Some factors favor spawning, such as a diet based on greenery or a water change in the aquarium.
