En savoir plus

The Gymnocorymbus ternetzi, more commonly known as the "Black Widow," is a freshwater fish that originates from South America. With a size of around 5 cm, this species lives for approximately 6 years. Moving in schools at mid-water levels, the Black Widow is non-territorial, although it can sometimes be aggressive towards other species.

For its upkeep, a minimum 120 L aquarium is essential, with a water temperature between 20° and 26°. The pH should be precisely between 6.8 and 7.2. Keeping them in groups is mandatory for the well-being of the animal. Carnivorous and insectivorous, the Gymnocorymbus ternetzi prefers a varied diet that is suitable to its original habits.
