En savoir plus
More commonly known as "Molly," the Poecilia sphenops lives in freshwater in the South America region. Very popular in aquariums, this fish belongs to the Poeciliidae family. Viviparous and averaging 4 cm in length, its lifespan is about 3 years. Adopting a diurnal lifestyle in small groups, it stays close to the surface and exhibits non-territorial behavior. Its natural habitat has a pH between 7 and 8.2, and a temperature between 18°C and 28°C. A minimum 140 L aquarium suits it perfectly. The robustness of the Molly Mix color makes it an extremely easy fish to keep in captivity.
