En savoir plus

Originally from South America as its name suggests, it lives in rivers, "quebrada*" and the tributaries of the Rio Acandi in Colombia.
Very easy to maintain, it is perfect for any type of aquarium with a minimum volume of 200L. Indeed, this tetra grows up to 7cm.

Calm in nature, it is gregarious and loves to swim, which is why it should be provided with an aquarium that has a large swimming space.

*Quebrada = name given to small bodies of water connected to rivers, often heavily planted.
