En savoir plus
Originally from Indonesia, the Oryzia woworae is a small fish not exceeding a few centimeters in length. Its lifespan is estimated to be around 5 years. Adapting to a diurnal lifestyle, it usually lives in schools at mid-depth. Despite having a somewhat territorial nature, it tends to be rather discreet in the presence of larger inhabitants. Some skirmishes may occur among members of the same group to establish a hierarchy, but the Oryzia woworae remains peaceful with other species.
When kept in an aquarium, water between 26° and 28° Celsius is ideal, as well as a pH between 6.5 and 8. A minimum of 50 liters of water volume is required for this fish. It is also highly recommended to keep about ten of these fish together to respect their colony lifestyle. Tolerant to parameter changes, maintaining this specimen is considered easy.
