EHEIM phosphate reducer 390 g
EHEIM - phosphate reducer 390 g
EHEIM phosphateout is a special iron compound for chemical filtration. The iron binds the phosphate, removes it from the water cycle, and thus gradually lowers the phosphate content in the aquarium.

EHEIM - Phosphate Reducer 390 g
Description
Depending on the type, the chemical filter media influences the pH value and water hardness (peat) - or decreases the phosphate content and inhibits algae growth (phosphateout).
The pH value of tap water is generally between 7.3 and 7.8, so it is slightly alkaline. However, most ornamental fish need more acidic water, that is, a pH below 7.0. EHEIM TORF pellets lower the pH value and reduce water hardness.
Phosphates are mainly caused by organic pollution in the aquarium water (leftover food, excretions, etc.) and are responsible for algae growth. EHEIM phosphateout binds the phosphate and removes it from the water cycle.
Features
The chemically effective phosphate remover inhibits algae growth.
EHEIM phosphateout is a special iron compound for chemical filtration. The iron binds the phosphate, removes it from the water cycle, and thus gradually lowers the phosphate content in the aquarium. Most importantly, this inhibits algae growth.
When the phosphate content and with it the algae growth increase again, the filter media is depleted and must be replaced.
EHEIM phosphateout is available in granular form for external filters and foam cartridges for internal filters. It is free of pollutants and suitable for both fresh and saltwater.
- The phosphate remover inhibits algae growth
- Iron compound, free of harmful substances
- Suitable for fresh and saltwater
- Can only be used once (replace if phosphate content increases again)
- For external filters in granular form, for internal filters in foam cartridge form
