The Epinephelus fulvus is a grouper capable of reaching 30 to 40 cm once fully grown. Native to Central America, this fish can have various colors but always with a multitude of small spots all over its body. The body itself is rather elongated. Sedentary, this grouper inhabits reefs and is very territorial.
For effective maintenance in an aquarium, it must have a minimum capacity of 450L, with a water temperature between 23° and 28°. Additionally, the pH should be maintained between 8 and 8.5. Carnivorous, it consumes crustaceans and small fish. The Cephalopholis fulva is preferably kept with several females.
Common name: Grouper Fish. This fish has an elongated yellow body.
