The Cromileptes altivelis is a very large fish that can measure up to 70 cm, with a lifespan of around 50 years. Its white body is speckled with black spots, including on its fins. Its dorsal fin is quite developed, and its pectoral and anal fins are imposing. Not far from the seabed, it generally swims alone.
A water volume of 450L is the minimum required for the maintenance of this fish. Then, water between 23° and 28° as well as a pH between 8 and 8.5 are perfectly suitable for the Cromileptes altivelis. Naturally reserved, the Grace Kelly Grouper is peaceful towards other fish and prefers to rub against the walls of the aquarium or elements of the décor. Its diet is that of a pure carnivore, thus consuming prey in the wild, and mussels, artemia, or small fish in the aquarium.
Common name: Grace Kelly Grouper Fish. This fish has a long white body with black spots. Be careful if you have small fish, as they can serve as breakfast for the Grace Kelly Grouper!
