Description
The HI731318 are microfiber cloths for cleaning cuvettes used with Checker HC colorimeters (HI700 series), photometers (HI96000 and HI83000 series), and turbidimeters.
These wipes remove dirt, grease, and fingerprints from the cuvettes so that light is transmitted without obstruction.
It is extremely important that the cuvettes used with photometers, colorimeters, and turbidimeters are clean and scratch-free in order to obtain an accurate measurement.
These instruments are based on an optical system in which light must be transmitted through the glass cuvette to be detected by a silicon photoelectric cell.
Impedance in the optical path will affect the way light interacts with the sample to be analyzed and thus the result obtained by the instrument. Use the HI731318 microfiber cloth to clean the cuvette.
