The temperature can be set precisely from 18 to 34 ° C and readjusted if necessary (± 2 °). The control accuracy is ± 0.5 ° C.

One of the most important innovations is the glass jacket:
- it enlarges the heating surface,

The jacket is made of special laboratory glass. This was created for research purposes. Therefore, it is free of pollutants that could be released into the water. Chemical and biological substances do not attack it. There are no cracks or capillary cracks through which condensation water could penetrate. It is shock resistant. And even extreme temperature fluctuations, such as those that can occur during water changes, do not affect this glass.

FAQ

There is moisture in my aquarium heater. Is it dangerous?

No, every aquarium heater that leaves our house is subjected to a waterproof test. Thus, we can guarantee that all aquarium heaters that leave our house are waterproof.

However, if you notice condensation on the glass bulb of your aquarium heater, then condensation has probably formed. This condensation can have the following reason.

When the aquarium heater heats the aquarium water, very high temperatures occur within the heater itself. Therefore, the air in the heater expands. This air escapes through the cable so that the heater does not burst due to the overpressure that now occurs.

When the heater turns off, the cooling air contracts and a negative pressure is created. The air is now drawn into the heater via the cable. Since the air can be very humid, depending on the weather or the season, this humid air condenses inside the heater and settles on the glass, as the glass is the coldest part of the heater.

Since this moisture accumulation has no conductive connection to the aquarium water, operation is completely harmless. The operation of the aquarium heater is also in no way impaired.
