Overview

Reef Fusion 1™ and Reef Fusion 2™ form the basis of a system designed to provide essential support for reef aquariums. Reef Fusion 1™ supplies calcium, while Reef Fusion 2™ provides alkalinity. When used together, the Reef Fusion™ system will maintain calcium and alkalinity levels.

When used as directed, Reef Fusion 1™ and Reef Fusion 2™ will maintain the critical levels of calcium and alkalinity necessary for healthy coral growth, while also providing suitable biological levels of other elements and trace elements.

Reef Fusion 1™

Reef Fusion 1™ not only provides 100,000 mg/L of ionic calcium but also includes biologically appropriate levels of magnesium, strontium, boron, iron, manganese, and molybdenum.

Reef Fusion 2™

Reef Fusion 2™ contains a blend of carbonates and bicarbonates at an alkalinity of 4400 meq/L. It is designed to restore and maintain alkalinity in the reef aquarium and provide essential carbonate for the growth of calcifying species.

Sizes: 500 ml, 1 L, 2 L, 4 L

Instructions

Dose the aquarium every 1-2 days.

Shake well before use.

Add 1 mL of Reef Fusion 1™ per 25 L (6.5 US gallons) of water. (For reference, the cap holds 5 ml.)

Add this to a high-flow area of the tank.

Wait a few minutes, then add Reef Fusion 2™ in the same manner, 1 ml per 25 L (6.5 US gallons), after shaking well.

It is best if both products are added to separate locations in the tank.

This dose provides 4 mg/L of calcium and 0.176 meq/L of alkalinity.

Never mix Reef Fusion 1™ directly with Reef Fusion 2™.

Maintain calcium levels between 380-420 mg/L.

Maintain alkalinity between 3-6 meq/L.

The size or frequency of the dose can be increased if the dosing regimen is insufficient to maintain calcium and alkalinity within these ranges, but do not exceed 4 mL/25 L (6.5 US gallons) per day.

FAQ

My calcium is where I want it, but my alkalinity is low. I have Reef Fusion 1 and 2 and was wondering if I could use them separately to increase my alkalinity or do they need to be used together?

You are not obligated to use them together. If your system is unbalanced, you can use the supplements individually to adjust to the desired range of calcium and alkalinity.
