RED SEA SALT - 4kg bag for 120L
Provides natural seawater parameters with a slightly elevated KH. Ideal for SPS Dominant, fish only, and oligotrophic waters.
Red Sea salt is designed to provide the exact parameters of tropical reef waters with slightly elevated alkalinity as needed in a closed marine system.
Red Sea salt is ideal for fish and invertebrate systems or nutrient-poor tanks where the hobbyist regularly supplements all individual elements.
- Completely natural ecological harvest from the exotic Red Sea waters
- Biologically balanced foundation element levels
- Trace element supplement
- Guaranteed parameters for a 10-liter / 2.5-gal mix.
- Free of nitrates and phosphates (algae nutrients)
- No toxic levels of heavy metals
- No chemical binders
- Low moisture content

Advanced Red Sea salt formula for coral reef systems and marine aquariums
Red Sea salt formula
Red Sea salt contains elevated and biologically balanced levels of base elements (calcium, magnesium, carbonates) necessary for sustainable and accelerated coral growth. Red Sea salt is ideal for reef aquariums, especially for LPS and SPS corals, and for growing coral frags.
Natural seawater includes more than 70 chemical elements and while most elements influence water parameters, some of them have a more significant role in its overall chemical stability.
These elements form the foundation of the reef environment and include the three main elements: calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonates.
These three "foundation elements" have a major effect on water chemistry (pH stability, alkalinity, ionic strength of seawater) and many coral biological processes (skeleton formation, ion exchange, photosynthesis).
Unlike the natural reef environment, where there is an immense reservoir of foundation elements, the reef aquarium has limited resources that are quickly depleted by its inhabitants. Therefore, to allow sustainable coral growth, it is necessary to maintain levels above the natural levels of foundation elements.
Original research conducted in the Red Sea laboratory has shown that in a closed system (an aquarium), a specific ratio between the base elements of calcium, magnesium, and carbonates (alkalinity) is necessary for coral vitality and the formation of a robust aragonite coral skeleton. This ratio must be maintained especially when increasing the level of foundation elements above the natural sea level.
Red Sea salt is manufactured according to these ideal ratios and eliminates the need to adjust foundation element levels after water changes and significantly improves coral well-being.
Red Sea Salt is available in these sizes:
- 4 kg (8.8 lb) Bag / Water volume: 120 liters (32 gal.)
- 7 kg (15.4 lb) Bucket / Water volume: 210 liters (55 gal.)
- 22 kg (48.5 lb) Bucket / Water volume: 660 liters (175 gal.)

Donne satisfaction
super comme sel
