Product usable in REEF with corals and invertebrates

Polyplab's Medic contains a "reef-safe" oxidizing agent and is particularly effective against: Cryptocaryon irritans Amyloodinium ocellatum

Characteristics

• Ensure to maintain a correct pH and KH before starting the treatment

• Does not harm nitrifying bacteria

Size: 33g - (treats a 190-liter aquarium for 100 days)

The bottle contains 33g of solution or 200 scoops to treat 380000 liters of your aquarium water.

How Medic works: Many external fish parasites have very similar life cycles. In particular, these parasites have an "attached" stage (trophonts), a "mature" stage (protomonts), a "reproductive" stage (tomonts), and a "free-swimming" stage (theronts/dinospores).

Most available treatments do not target the free-swimming stage of the parasite, which is one of the main difficulties in treating these infections. Research with ciliated protozoa has shown that the "free-swimming" stage of these parasites has remarkably uniform hatching times.

Ingredients: Crystallized peroxide salts.

Dosages: one provided scoop for 200 liters of water twice a day.

1 x dose in the morning (before 10 AM if possible).

1 x dose in the evening (after 10 PM if possible).

Continue administering doses for 10 to 20 days depending on the progression of the disease.

Note: Ozone and activated carbon should not be used during the treatment. The skimmer must be running. The UV filter can be used 1 hour after adding the product to the aquarium. The infection may seem to disappear when white spots are no longer visible on the fish. This is simply part of the parasite's natural cycle, and you must continue to administer the product for 10 days to be maximally effective.

Once the treatment is complete, use activated carbon for 2 or 3 days. Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
