This product is intended for use with all ornamental and aquarium fish only and cannot be used for fish intended for human consumption.
Usage
- Use MICROBE-LIFT/Phosphate test strips to check the phosphate level in your tank water. A high phosphate level will inhibit coralline algae.
- Other factors to consider in promoting coralline algae growth are:
- Carbonate hardness
- Light intensity
- Reef inhabitants, such as urchins that feed on it.
- This bottle contains aragonite powder.
- Shake well before use.
- Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 50 gal. (189 L).
- Add the product near any high water flow area or directly into your sump.
- The tank water will temporarily become cloudy. It will clear over time.
- If you are testing calcium levels, wait at least 1.5 to 2 hours for the product to disperse. The natural concentration of calcium in seawater is 420 ppm, and you should maintain your aquarium's saltwater at no more than 420 ppm consistently.
