Description

With EHEIM biopower, you have a high-performance internal filter that has never existed before.

The spherical pump head that can pivot all around, the modular structure, and other advantages come from the aquaball concept.
The unique feature of the biopower is that it offers multi-stage filtration like an external filter. The closed filter baskets are filled with highly effective filter material (e.g. SUBSTRATpro). The intake basket with a filter cartridge for mechano-biological pre-filtering is located at the bottom. Water drawn in from the bottom is pumped through the different filter layers and finally returned to the aquarium after being cleaned.
There are 3 models for aquariums from 80 to 240 liters.

External filter technology and multi-stage filtering - this means: Water is pumped from the bottom through different filter layers, then returned to the aquarium after being cleaned.

The closed filter baskets are (upon purchase) filled with EHEIM SUBSTRATpro. Other filter media can also be used.
The intake basket contains a filter cartridge for mechano-biological pre-filtering. A filter pad in the pump head holder provides additional filtering.

The filter volume can be individually adapted to the aquarium by adding or removing modules (filter baskets).

The SET2 extension is available for expansion
The filter baskets are simply clipped on or separated (easy-click locking system)
Due to the modular structure, the filter media can be cleaned at different times, thus protecting the bacterial cultures.
 

Features

The spherical pump head is set in a ball joint and can be pivoted all around. In this way, the flow of purified water can be directed in any direction.

The flow rate and pump output are adjusted using the rotary knob on the discharge nozzle.

The air supply and thus the enrichment of oxygen in the aquarium is regulated via the provided power diffuser.

The support for biopower is simply attached to the tank with suction cups. The filter is simply removed from the support for cleaning, replacement of parts, or addition of filter media.
